Saudamini Kalra works as performing artist, writer, and educator. While her work has primarily been in the theatre, it often spills over to photo, video, visual arts, science, and activism.
From 2020 to 2021, she served as the Associate Director of Indian Ensemble.
She is trained in theater making from The Drama School Mumbai and L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, where she attended as an INLAKS scholar. She previously completed her Masters in English Studies from the Humanities and Social Sciences Department of IIT Madras.
Her family hails from Ferozpur and Multan, and she was born and raised in New Delhi. She is currently based out of Goa where she teaches theatre and language.
